I'm reading at Word Vancouver, Sunday, September 27th, 2.00 pm at the Vancouver Downtown Library.

This reading is part of the Poetry in Transit program, I'm very pleased to have a poem featured as part of Poetry In Transit 20015.

The poem is "Tudely Church", from The Fire Extinguisher:

   Chagall's stained glass windows

   holy beyond belief. My father's

   tweed shoulder, his handkerchief

   and my mother waiting outside.

   Their twin loves illuminated,

   pouring through me that day

in the quiet way they let it show,

the high gem-blue windows, the sun

                          lit indigo.
